“When the only tool you have is a hammer, Everything looks like a nail to you.”

There is a
fundamental
limitation
IN THE way healthcare is practiced today.
For example, if one consults an Allopath for a health issue, the doctor will suggest an allopathic solution. The same is true if one were to consult an Ayurvedic doctor or a Homeopath. They will only suggest solutions from their areas of specialization. While all these solutions are valid, they might not be the BEST solution for a specific patient or a specific situation.
Therein lies the limitation. In fact, the situation is worse than that…
The practice of medicine has become fragmented into various dogmatic camps:
Mainstream Medicine, Alternative Medicine, New Age Medicine, etc.
Each camp claims to be superior to the other forms of medicine and in fact criticizes the others. Eg: Allopaths criticize Naturopathy as being unscientific while Naturopaths criticize Allopathy as being invasive and ridden with dangerous side-effects. The camps are often hostile to one another.

In fact, even people within the same camp seldom seem to agree with each other. Eg: Confusion abounds among dieticians: Low-fat, low-carbohydrate, high protein, GM Diet, South Beach Diet and on and on.
The end-result is that the patient is left confused and paralyzed with conflicting and contradictory information. Making an intelligent decision under these circumstances is extremely difficult if not impossible. So the patient ends up making decisions based on fear and emotion rather than on information and rationale.
Wishing Well Healthcare has a totally different view on this important issue.
Just as it would be absurd to claim that a hammer is better than a screwdriver, so also it is absurd to claim that Allopathy is better than Ayurveda or vice versa. The challenge for the healthcare practitioner lies in choosing the RIGHT TOOL FOR THE RIGHT SITUATION.
A clinic or hospital can only choose the appropriate tool for each situation if they have ALL THE TOOLS AT THEIR DISPOSAL. Sadly, most doctors are “1-tool carpenters.”
At Wishing Well, we take pride in knowing that we have worked hard to be fully equipped with a FULL TOOL BOX of diagnostic and treatment skills spanning all major branches of medicine. This puts us in the right position to find the best possible solution for what ails each patient who walks through our doors.
